Support provided by the Leibniz Universität Hannover and participating partner institutions
The fruitful scientific links between Physics and Mechanical Engineering (and the Hanover Medical School) strongly shape the University’s scientific profile and that of its scientific partners: the foundation of LZH, of the MPI for Gravitational Physics, of the Laboratory for Nano- and Quantum Engineering (LNQE), or—the most recent foundation—the Hanover Centre for Optical Technologies (HOT) are directly related to innovative efforts of Physics in LUH. The LNQE, a co-operation of institutes and scientific groups of mechanical and electrical engineering, chemistry, biophysics, informatics, and physics is strongly supported by LUH: Several groups of QUEST are members of LNQE and will have reserved rooms at LNQE. Some of the new groups within QUEST will find additional and adequate lab space, e.g. in a clean room environment, there, too.
